xmas and amirul's birthday:

we went to bugis and watched charlotte's web. a very nice movie, better than e book!!

Authentic Love

Authentic love requires that you go deeper than the thrill of infatuation, beyond the rush of chemistry, and sometimes that you transcend the expectations of family, friends and society. Yet what exactly is authentic love?

Authentic love is choosing your partner exactly as he is; it is putting your energy behind your choice and causing the relationship to be magical, rather than searching for reasons why it can’t work. Love is supporting your partner in her choices, urging her to fulfil her heart’s desires and go for all her dreams.

Authentic love is honouring your partner’s truth and wanting the very best for him. It is not controlling or possessing but rather respecting and trusting his unique path in life. Love is the courage to tell the truth especially when you believe it is unspeakable.

Authentic love means knowing your boundaries and respecting those of your partner; it means reaching out when you don’t want to, communicating rather than assuming, and asking questions rather than jumping to conclusions. Authentic love means working things out rather than fighting, fighting rather than leaving, and staying through the misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and disappointments, knowing that through commitment all can be healed. It means staying when you want to give up, and honouring your commitment to work things out with the one you have chosen.

Authentic love means focusing on what you appreciate and why you are grateful. It means focusing on solutions rather than on problems. It means focusing attention on your partner and letting her know each day how much you care. It means treasuring your beloved and never taking her for granted.

Authentic love means living without judgements to create the safety to tell your truths. It means living each day with your partner as if it were your last. It is the willingness to be yourself and live in harmony with each other.

What does an authentic relationship look like? It looks and feels real. It thrives on honesty and shimmers with truth. An authentic relationship flexes and bends with the fluctuating needs and changes of each partner and gracefully weathers hardships. Both partners are committed to the growth and evolution of both individuals in their respective life paths. Much like the diamond used symbolically to represent the bond of matrimony, an authentic relationship sparkles with brilliance and light while maintaining a solid and enduring core. It is the context in which true love was meant to exist.

3-7 dec (BKK trip)

the boeing 737-300 plane wif its door open. i had the privilege of sitting the front seat cos my dad 'choped' it (typical sporean). and whats more, airasia, being a budget carrier, offers free seating

the first time i ever walked down such a platoform, and i could see the plane from where i was standing. cool eh? this is how it looked like:

the breathtaking view from my hotel (baiyoke suite), which yet again proves that light travels in straight lines

candlelight dinner at the 43 floor. its a romantic setting. must recommend for couples!!

believe it or not, it's sunrise! not sunset. used the different modes on my cam to get this

the best place and highlight of the entire trip. siam paragon, i prefer the layout of central cos it's less up market, unlike this, where chanel, dior etc are housed.

ocean world inside siam paragon. its super cool inside, better than underwater world i tink. wait till you see what's comin up.

2 dec:the tables are prepared, with the utensils all ready. the food's gonna be so so nice!! but we only have packet dinner. but better than nth

the view of the chaos inside the art room. all the hair spray smell. luckily i dint have to put on any make up nor hair spray. *phews*

that's abt it for the week-long rehearsals, the as long as eternity waits, the arduous last minute changes, the effort put in by the entire TK staff, students and external vendor (orange dot). fantastic job everyone! if there's a 100th yr anniv, i hope i'll be around to witness it =)

feastfusion@tk indeed is a once in a lifetime experience for me personally. it showed me that my adversity quotient (AQ) is still fairly high, which is good. and more importantly, despite thinking too much over the past few days, i had done my best. and i can say that i had done a great job. the teachers re-affirmed it for me. a huge gargantuan load had been lifted off my backs. and i could look forward to my trip in BKK now that everything's settled.

i shall talk abt bkk and np camp and my kl trip for the next posts.

see you guys. btw, i have finished my xmas shopping!! spent over $100 on gifts for my friends. but what's xmas without spreading the love of God?

the 50th logo for hanging well wishes from guests

pds with hip hop with rappers. the lighting's abit gaudy though

npcc taekwondo. they did yellow tip pattern and other patterns too. clement's flying kick is nice. and the way he does the koryo (black belt 1st dan) and choongmoo (black belt 2nd dan) is so super cool!! =))

i jus came back from bangkok, np camp and kl. i'll be putting up pics from the journeys i had for my xmas shopping for my best friends =)
